Later someone told me I had been looking for cars in the worst neighbourhoods of New York. Broadway Junction, Kings Higway, Church avenue. Finally i bought a car close to New Lots. I spent two days at the garage to get all the paperwork done. But now I'm driving a Dodge Caravan from 2001.
